Audits

HCPG provides evidence for all this and more through an independent external audit.
Our audit:
Provides an objective insight into your business, and;
Reviews your compliance against the HCPC and CSP standards and regulations, and;
Delivers assurance that the business foundations are robust and function well and;
Ensures that everything regulatory is up to date and;
Provides a process to stay up to date.
We audit your practice against your professional standards and regulations. Providing an action plan and bespoke support package which suits your individual needs.
On completion of the audit, and action plan delivered, we review it together. The next steps are discussed, and the way forward agreed upon. (Includes the suggested level of support).
There are 4 levels
Entry Level
The Entry Level Audit package over 6 months aimed at Practice Managers/Clinic leads. It provides external independent confirmation that their governance is robust.
HCPG would not recommend this level of support for a compliance notice. This level is for those who have an established evidenced governance process already in place: Or those who have a high level of admin time to progress quickly.
HCPG visits your clinic and reviews your practice. Service-specific standards and processes checked e.g. In Physiotherapy, HCPC, and CSP. The audit usually takes a whole day, on our web-based audit tool. Audit completed, you receive RAG rated, prioritized action plan within 2 working days.
We will call once a month for a booked 30 minute call for the first three months to answer queries and offer support
We will revisit and reaudit in full early in month 6
Support Level
The Support Level Package over 12 months aimed at Practice Managers/Clinical Leads. It is for those who, on completion of the initial audit, feel that they will need more time and more support: Before they can ensure that external independent audit confirms their governance is robust.
HCPG recommends this level for a service already on their compliance journey. Those needing support to move things forward within a formal prioritized structure…
HCPG visits your clinic and reviews your practice. Service-specific standards and processes checked e.g. In Physiotherapy, HCPC, and CSP. The audit usually takes a whole day, on our web-based audit tool. Audit completed, you receive RAG rated, prioritized action plan within 2 working days.
We will call once a month for a booked 30 minute call for the first 6 months to answer queries and offer support.
We will revisit and review audit actions in month 6.
We will revisit and reaudit in full early in month 12
Partner Level
The Partner Level Package over 12 months aimed at Practice Managers/Clinical Leads. It is for those who, on completion of the initial audit, feel they need in-depth training and more support. They have very little in place. An external independent audit would not confirm their governance as robust.
HCPG recommends this level for a service ready to start on their compliance journey. Those who are not sure how or where to start.
HCPG visits your clinic and reviews your practice. Service-specific standards and processes checked e.g. In Physiotherapy, HCPC, and CSP. The audit usually takes a whole day, on our web-based audit tool. Audit completed, you receive RAG rated, prioritized action plan within 2 working days.
We will call once a month for a booked 30 minute call for 12 months to answer queries and offer support.
We will provide 5 Policies or templates of your choosing.
We will deliver one in house training day bespoke to your needs.
We will revisit and review audit actions in month 4.
We will revisit and review audit actions in month 8.
We will revisit and reaudit in full early in month 12.
Partner Level Plus
The Partner Level Package over 12 months aimed at Practice Managers/Clinical Leads. It is for those who, on completion of the initial audit, feel they need in-depth training and more support. They have very little in place. and an external audit would find the governance processes in need of much support.
HCPG recommends this level for a service ready to start on their compliance journey. Those who are not sure how or where to start and those who need support , templates and lack time.
HCPG visits your clinic * and reviews your practice. Service-specific standards and processes checked e.g. In Physiotherapy, HCPC, and CSP. Care Quality Commission requirements are also taken into account. The audit usually takes a whole day, on our web-based audit tool. Audit completed, you receive a RAG rated, prioritized action plan within 2 working days. (* This may be by Zoom during COVID restrictions)
We will call once a month for a booked 30 minute call for 12 months to answer queries and offer support
All relevant templates provided (from 40+)
All relevant policies provided and developed with you (20 +)
